Photo matches the image captured on the selfie check.

Its important to note that results will only display on the check once the person who receives the link has captured their selfie.

/ In Progress:
This
indicates the Selfie check has not yet been completed. No results
are returned until the applicant completes the
check.

These codes indicate the selfie was
attempted but was either unsuccessful or result returned was not as expected.

This means that the Department of Home
Affairs was down at the time the person tried to complete the selfie.

|
This is due to no recent ID or passport
application that has taken place at Home Affairs since HANIS came online in
the late 1990’s.

returned.

Liveness Failed
|
The liveness part of the check where the
consumer needs to follow on screen instructions failed.

This
