Frequently Asked Questions

• Login to TPN Credit Bureau.
• Select Credit Checks from the blue ribbon on the top of the screen.
• Select New Credit Check in Business Checks section using left hand navigation or select Perform a new business credit check in middle of screen
• The system allows you to choose to run the enquiry either by Registration Number or Company/ Business name. 
• If you want to perform a check on the company name, click on Change to business name search.
• Enter the Company name and as many other known details. The system is sensitive to any special characters (e.g. -  / : ‘. ,).
• Click Next 
• The next screen will display a list of possible matches.
• Select the relevant Registration number.
• By default, the TPN RentCheck will be selected. 

This enquiry includes:

• The TPN Company Enquiry 
• The Scan on File (TransUnion) Enquiry.

Important: If you do not have access to the RentCheck then you can perform the TPN Company Enquiry and Scan on File Enquiry. Once done please contact the Helpdesk for information on how to get access to the RentCheck.

• Select the additional enquiries you want to perform by ticking the relevant tick-box. Additional enquiries that can be selected are:
• Subject Default  (the Scan on File will provide you with Subject Default information and will automatically grey out this option)
• Bank Account Verification, this will verify that the bank account belongs to the company.

• Once you are satisfied with your selection of enquiries click Perform Credit Check
• The credit checks are processed immediately, and results screen will display automatically.
• Each enquiry selected is individually tabbed with the Summary Report displayed first.  You can click on each tab to view the details of each enquiry.
• There are menu options listed down the left-hand side of the enquiry to download, email or print the report.
• If you would like to include additional checks to this report, click Add additional checks to this report.

Reminder:  All enquiries done are automatically saved under the Credit Check History under the Credit Check Menu.
